FAQ

What is Near Infrared Spectroscopy?

Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) is the process of passing near infrared light (780nm to 2500nm) through a sample and measuring how much of the light is absorbed. Since each chemical compound absorbs different wavelengths of light, it is possible to identify the sample based on which parts of the original spectrum remain.

What is Dithiazine?

Dithiazine is a byproduct of using MEA Triazine to scavenge Hydrogen Sulfide from natural gas. If left unchecked, dithiazine can precipitate and collect on exposed equipment. This coating can result in increased downtime and repair costs.
