Description
The Insight Analytical NPT Sample Quill Probe is designed for gas-phase analytical applications and is available with ½”, ¾”, or 1” NPT threadolet process connections, each with a male ½” NPT connection for an isolation valve. The insertion length varies by model: 50 mm for the ½” NPT, 63 mm for the ¾” NPT, and 75 mm for the 1” NPT, providing a representative sample without excessive probe length.
The quill section features a 1.5 mm bore for fast response time and a hemispherical tip to reject particulates and aerosols. Electropolished 316L stainless steel enhances corrosion resistance, increases fatigue strength, and reduces thread galling.
Minimizing probe length lowers costs, improves response time, reduces plugging risk, and minimizes pressure drop and flow disturbances. Designed to withstand high gas velocities, this probe meets ASME PTC 19.3 TW-2010 thermowell standards for vortex shedding safety.
