Liquids Carryover Sensors are inline detection devices designed to protect gas analyzers by identifying and removing unwanted liquid contamination in real time. These sensors are essential for maintaining gas quality and ensuring accurate analyzer performance. By combining cyclone separation, knock-out pot functionality, and capacitive sensing, they detect water, glycol, hydrocarbons, and alcohols before they reach the analyzer.

Zone 1 Carryover Sensor for Continuous Hazardous Environments

The Zone 1 Carryover Sensor is engineered for continuous exposure to hazardous gases. Its electroless nickel-plated aluminum housing and precision inlet geometry create centrifugal flow that separates liquids and particulates from the gas stream. The integrated capacitive sensor detects accumulated liquid, enabling early warning and rapid intervention.

This configuration is commonly used in sour gas systems, compressor stations, and heat exchanger outlets where continuous protection is critical.
