Spring Return Valve for Safe Manual Control in Process Systems

The Spring Return Valve from Insight Analytical Solutions is a safety-focused manual valve engineered for gas and liquid process systems where fail-safe positioning is critical. Available in both 2-way and 3-way configurations, each valve is designed to return automatically to a safe position unless actively held by the operator. This ensures reliable control in applications such as sample handling, stream switching, and pressure management.

2-Way Spring Return Valve for Controlled Flow Isolation

The 2-way configuration functions as a normally closed valve, opening only when manually engaged. Once released, the internal spring mechanism returns the valve to the closed position, preventing unintended flow. This makes it ideal for grab sampling, draining, and refueling applications where accidental release must be avoided.

3-Way Spring Return Valve for Safe Stream Switching

The 3-way configuration is designed for stream switching applications and defaults to a safe home position, such as vent or bypass. It only diverts flow while actively engaged, then returns automatically once released. This reduces risk in applications involving multiple sample streams or pressure routing.

For routing multiple sample streams to analyzers or devices, the Sample Distribution Panel can be integrated downstream to manage flow paths efficiently.
